Today i started experimenting with the keyboard and used different sounds such as "Brush Kit" and "Honey Bee" however after speaking to Carrie she didnt like the sound of these and said she wanted something dreamy so i had a look through the options and came across "Chasing Harmonics", i composed a piece of about 40 seconds and asked Carrie and she said she really liked it, so i have no completed the music part of the advert, i will now have to make sound effects and any voice overs she wants. The screen shot below shoes the composition, however as you can see its very "blocky" and doest not flow, so i may overlap it with other compositions.
Tuesday 22nd May:
Today i composed a voice over for the end of the advert, to do this i had to set up the zoom in one of the practice rooms, too set up the zoom i had to plug the zoom in to the back of the computer, then i had to load cubase, select device set up and change it too zoom, i then plugged the headphones in to the zoom so i could hear what i was recored, i created a audio track to record the dialouge on too. I only recorded "herbal essences, indulge your senses". The screen shot below shows the voice over i recored on the zoom.
Wednesday 30th May:
Today i imported the video in to cubuase so it was easier to sync the music, audio track, midi tracks with. Mostly today i played with the expression to see if what i have composed could be made better below is the screen shot, i dont know if ill keep it like this but it was good to experiment today.
