Music for film & TV:Title analysis

The Simpson's theme tune

The instruments i could hear during the introduction theme tune to The Simpson's  are:
Gutair
Trumpet
Drums
Violin
Harp

Sound effects: burp, school bell, chalk board, car horn.
Vocals: Screaming
The texture is thick at the beginning however moving in to a different scenario it becomes thinner.

The music at the beginning sounds upbeat and happy. However when the scene changes the music changes from trumpets, flutes and so on, to a choral hymn which completely changes the mood and your mind set and all of a sudden the music and scenery makes you feel sad, miserable and even maybe a bit scared. When the scene moves back to the original theme music and suddenly hear the joyful upbeat music again which makes the episode being played seem more fun, joyful and exciting to watch.
